| The United States Parachute Association issues skydiving licenses, A through D, which are used throughout the country as a measurement of a skydiver's demonstrated skills. The fifteen levels of the Skydive Pennsylvania IAF program listed below, plus five to ten solo jumps, will take you to the A-license. The average student completes the levels in 14 to 16 jumps. Students who have completed level one ground training and performed satisfactorily on their level one jump simply move on by completing a short briefing for level two. Students who have made a
static line or
tandem jump can begin the IAF levels at level two after ground training for freefall and solo parachute flight. The cost is $269. Skydive Pennsylvania also offers advanced training for other licenses, instructor ratings, headdown flying and BASE jumping. |
