IAF / AFF (Instructor Assisted Freefall)

Instructor Assisted Freefall, often referred to as Accelerated Freefall, is an "accelerated" learning program similar to hiring a tennis or golf pro as a tutor. After five to six hours of ground training, the student makes a jump from 10,500 to 13,500 feet with two freefall instructors. The instructors fall with the student from the moment they leave the aircraft until opening, assisting the student as necessary to fall stable, monitor altitude, etc. The student then deploys his or her own parachute around 5,500 feet and flies the canopy to landing.

The cost of the course and first jump is $335 inclusive. You must be 18 years of age, less than 230 pounds and in extremely good physical condition. Training and jumps are offered Wednesday through Sunday. Pre-registration is a must by calling 800-909-JUMP or via email jump@skydivepa.com.
